Generally, the performance requirements of hydraulic oil for hydraulic brick press are as follows:

(1) Proper viscosity. The viscosity is too small and the system leakage increases. The volumetric efficiency of the pump decreases; Excessive viscosity will increase the movement resistance, increase the system pressure drop, increase the temperature rise, and "holes" may appear at the suction end of the main pump.

(2) Higher viscosity index. The hydraulic brick press operates continuously with large working load, and the system oil temperature changes greatly with the load and ambient temperature. Hydraulic oil should have good viscosity temperature characteristics, that is, the viscosity index should be high.

(3) Good lubricity. The purpose is to reduce the wear between the moving surfaces of parts and ensure the service life of hydraulic brick press.

(4) Good oxidation stability. When the oil temperature increases by 10 ℃, the chemical reaction rate increases by about twice. The high chemical stability of the oil ensures that it is not easy to oxidize and deteriorate during storage and use.

(5) foam resistance is good. After bubbles appear in the oil. With the increase of compression ratio, the action of hydraulic components is slow, resulting in hydraulic impact and crawling.

(6) Low pour point and high flash point. The purpose is to ensure the low-temperature fluidity and high-temperature safety of oil.
